Founded in warren michigan in 1967, bear packaging & supply (formerly the bland company) has been manufacturing high quality plastic bags under the trade mark “bear claw bags” for some 45 years. In the early 80’s manufacturing was moved to a more centralized location in mt. Pleasant, to better serve the needs of customers in central and northern michigan. In 1994 all operations were consolidated into the mt pleasant location, and remain there today. 2002 saw the first change in ownership when bear packaging & supply was purchased by triple threat inc. Bear claw bags have become known throughout michigan as the highest quality bags in the market. It always has and always will be the promise that bear claw bags are made up to a quality standard, not down to a price. Quality, service and value remain our guiding principle to our customers.
